Just an update today not really a new release but a re-release~ those are always good too, right? ^^ We got in the official japanese tanko scans and redid a few pages from v3ch1 and added in the little goodies of the cover and such. We left in the color mag pages because they were just too pretty to remove and a lot of the scans that were already edited as much of it was the same. Some re-translation were made as well (and added).

I am not sure what Mangafox is doing or whatever their "general" terminology is for locked threads but the titles we choose are NOT LICENSED. Just because they only seem to wise up when a scanlation group doesn't want their work on their site they go ahead and label it LICENSED - its not true.

This makes US look bad if it was licensed because that is going beyond the scope of scanlating and what it SHOULD stand for.

I realize alot of you apparently read our manga on Mangfox but I have had it with their inconsistent attitudes and lack of care for the people who DO ALL THE WORK to keep their goddamn site up and running.

So this is the last straw and I refused to go through all of Mangaupdates to let people know the truth on our series.

Just a quick note before we head onto the release ^^

A lot of you have contacted us with concerns about recent news articles [like the one at the end of this blurb] concerning the Japanese/USA manga publishers alliance and their targeting of manga aggregators. Our operational status is not affected by these actions. The majority of the Japanese or US publishers listed were not yaoi-focused publishers and unlike the sites listed in the articles we do not ask for funds in any way to operate nor do we serve licensed Manga. From the day of its inception Nakama has always chosen to be a non-profit scanlation group. We only scanlate manga purchased by our group members and have never sought any kind of financial recompense or benefit from our work.

Anytime a series was licensed in English we immediately pulled the plug on any ongoing work and ceased distribution. Our goal is and always has been to promote the artists we love by introducing their work to the worldwide non-japanese speaking audience. There is nothing that makes us happier than to see our work cease because a series we love is finally picked up and brought to a bookstore where we can go out  and buy the English version in a hard copy version.

So we thank you for your concern and with that said - we give you a crapload of manga!~ Also check out our update page for the new Nitta we will be working on soon - Kisu Ariki!
